The inception - defining the scope

We defined the scope of our project. The following diagram illustrates the block diagram that we decided to stick to as our baseline design.

  

Our ECG patch will monitor one pair of leads to generate a single ECG signal which will be digitized and sent via wireless to a back-end controller which is interfaced to a pc or smart-phone.  The above diagram mentions the hardware components.  The identified components were: ADC driver running on SPI driver on Nano-RK over Fiirefly node, a data collection module and wireless communication module on the ECG patch.
